What equipment will my child need?


Mandatory - lacrosse stick, mouthguard, eye protection

Optional - close-fitting gloves, nose guard, headgear

Goalies must wear a helmet with face mask, separate throat protector, padded gloves, mouthguard, padding on thighs and shins, and a chest protector.  Youth level goalies must wear some form of abdominal and pelvic protection.  Arm, leg and shoulder padding is optional for goalies.

Where can I find youth lacrosse rules?

US Lacrosse develops age-appropriate playing rules and publishes the annual "Youth Rules and Best Practices Guidebook for Boys/Girls."  You can find the boy's rulebook here on the US Lacrosse website.  You can find the girl's rulebook here on the US Lacrosse website.
