GIRLS’ HOUSE LEAGUE (U8)
The Girls’ House League (Summer 2019) is for girls entering kindergarten through 2nd grade in the fall. We focus on fundamentals, rules of the game and foundational lacrosse skills. EALA follows the US Lacrosse age-based Athlete Development Model.
Where & When
The Girls’ House League will practice at the East Aurora High School on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Specific time to be determined.
The season begins May 28 with all practices and play days concluding by the end of July.
Girls are required to have a lacrosse stick, mouthguard and eye protection. You can find additional information on requirements for girl’s equipment on the US Lacrosse website. Go to – Eye Wear and Sticks for more information.
Close-fitting gloves, noseguards and headgear are optional.
Goalies must wear a helmet with face mask, separate throat protector, padded gloves, mouthguard, padding on thighs and shins and a chest protector. Youth level goalies must wear some form of abdominal and pelvic protection. Arm, leg and shoulder padding is optional for goalies.
Please let us know if you are having difficulty finding equipment.
